How does it work?

Water from the freshwater system is filtered in a special filter unit or in a reverse osmosis system, before entering a high pressure pump with an integrated UV- water treatment unit. The pump achieves a pressure of up to 1600 psi. Flexible hp- polyamide tubes or stainless steel pipes with form fitting pipe connections are connecting  the pump with the fogging jet nozzles. Before reaching the nozzles an additional chiller unit can be fitted to cool  the pressurized water down to 4°C. This will be done in case of very warm water tank temperatures. The nozzles are designed as silent nozzles by reducing the speed of the micro fog droplets when expelled into the cooling zone.  Another important advantage is, that the micro fog evaporates immediately and close to the nozzle, so that people and surfaces don't get wet.  Due to the adiabatic cooling effect and due to the Maxwell Boltzmann distribution of molecules in a gas the ambient air temperature can be reduced by up to 12 °C. The cool and heavier air will then descend. This is the reason why we mount the nozzles above the cooling zone. People, objects or surfaces will not get wet as the water evaporates immediately. When the system is used for surface cooling there will be no limestone or any other residuals on the surfaces or windows due to our very effective water treatment. The system can work  in permanent mode or in interval mode. When the system depressurizes the remaining water is added to the circuit and treated again before entering the pump.

The system is controlled by WiFi or remote control or sensors and can be integrated into any yacht intelligence or domotic system.
Our system can be combined with RGB-LED lights, laser or with a mixture unit for fragrances or a biological anti-mosquito repellent. It can also be used to produce a spectacular background fog for the y
acht`s name or any other light effects.
